M/S Skåne BWTS installation
Shipping’s increasing environmental obligations pose retrofit challenges for even the most well-designed of ships. Invariably, Team Electric is ready to offer the solutions.
The Challenge
In a recent example of its ability to deliver turnkey services ranging from basic and detail design to pre-commissioning, Team Electric took full responsibility for project-managing the installation of two ballast water treatment systems (BWTS) on board Stena Line ferry Skåne. Offering 3,295 lane meters for road vehicles and 1,110 lane metres for railway vehicles, Skåne is the world's largest multi-purpose ro-ro/train ferry.
