Bon voyage and fair winds Spirit of Tasmania IV

The latest vessel built to serve the Bass Strait features 301 new cabins, including 12 deluxe cabins, 2 family suites, 120 porthole cabins, 159 inside cabins, 8 accessible cabins with an interconnecting cabin. Team Electric Group were involved in all the passenger and crew cabins, crew area, lounges, AC-room and ventilation systems.

Further works included the whole of Deck 8 including all restaurants, bars, 2 cinemas and children’s areas serving the 1,800-passenger capacity of Spirit of Tasmania IV.

With its’ 4 turbocharged dual fuel engines, The Spirit of Tasmania IV is expected to be able to traverse the Bass Strait in 9.5 – 11.5h. Team Electric worked on all the machinery and engines areas.

Even with the iconic red livery, the Spirit of Tasmania IV achieves green ship status.
